OCTG (Oil Country Tubular Goods) refers to special pipes applied in oil & gas exploration, production and transportation, including casing, tubing and tool pipes, forming an integrated string system from surface downhole and from wellhead to end user. Manufactured mainly from high-strength alloy steel, these products feature high tensile strength, collapse resistance, corrosion resistance and resistance to high temperature & pressure for harsh service conditions. Driven by deep well, ultra-deep well and offshore development, higher requirements are raised on steel grade, H₂S corrosion resistance and service life, making it a high technical-barrier segment within petroleum equipment.
