The specialized hot-production casing is specifically designed for high-temperature operations such as steam injection, steam flooding, and SAGD, serving as a dedicated well casing that supports the wellbore wall, isolates formations, protects the borehole, and withstands long-term exposure to extreme conditions including high temperatures (≤350°C), elevated pressures, thermal cyclic stresses, and corrosion in the tubing string system.
Product Specifications: 7″
Steel grade: P110H
For thermal recovery well casing designed based on strain design principles, the process involves two key steps: first, performing pipe string strength design to ensure compliance with requirements during drilling and completion of heavy oil thermal recovery wells; second, conducting pipe string strain design to meet demands throughout the production phase. The casing exhibits strong resistance to thermal strain, along with excellent plasticity and toughness. During steam injection and withdrawal operations, it demonstrates minimal wellhead lift, significant contraction of the elongated section after steam injection, and low cumulative plastic elongation per cycle, thereby extending its service life.
The steel grade is P110, with a room-temperature yield strength of 780–1000 MPa.
Maintains strength at 350°C for ≥84% of its original value, exhibits resistance to high-temperature softening, and does not undergo plastic deformation easily.
It has a low linear expansion coefficient (10–12×10⁻⁶/℃) and exhibits minimal thermal expansion and contraction stress.
At high temperatures, the creep rate remains low; long-term steam injection does not cause deformation or diameter reduction.
Extensibility ≥ 23%, uniform extensibility ≥ 12%, impact toughness ≥ 60 J, and resistance to thermal cyclic loading and strain fatigue.
Contains Cr/Mo alloys (e.g., 3Cr/9Cr), resistant to CO₂/H₂S corrosion, and suitable for multi-component thermochemical flooding.
Special high-temperature resistant threaded fitting/union with a high-pressure steam seal ensuring no leakage.
It prevents casing buckling, diameter reduction, and fracture at high temperatures, extending the wellbore integrity service life from the conventional 3–5 years to 10 years or more.
Low expansion coefficient combined with high sealing performance reduces steam leakage and heat loss, enhances wellbore dryness, and improves steam injection efficiency.
Reducing wellworkover, side drilling, and abandonment significantly lowers the total lifecycle cost per well.
Designed for steam flooding/ displacement, SAGD (Steam Assisted Gas Production), and oil burning in reservoirs, suitable for complex environments including deep wells, high-salinity conditions, and extreme cold.
Strictly adheres to the API 5CT standard, ensuring stable and reliable quality.
After heat treatment, the microstructure of the casing and coupling materials is tempered sorbite, with the proportion of non-tempered martensite not exceeding 5%.
Tensile testing machines and impact testing machines are essential equipment for evaluating the mechanical properties of petroleum casing pipes and steel materials after heat treatment, ensuring that their performance meets specified requirements.
